Pattern for Numbers 21-99

For numbers between tens (21-29, 31-39, etc.), Spanish uses the following pattern: • For 21-29: veinti + number Example: 21 = veintiuno, 22 = veintidós • For 31-99: tens + y + number Example: 31 = treinta y uno, 42 = cuarenta y dos Note that numbers ending in 1 (except 11) drop the final 'o' when followed by a masculine noun: un libro (one book) vs. una mesa (one table)
